The Terrarium

Named in reference to terrariums. A terrarium is like an aquarium, but for plants instead of fish. It is made in just about any glass container. It is planted to look like a miniature garden or forest enclosed in its own little world.

FRAME: EXTRA LARGE, 16" tall, black frame.


FABRIC: Created with plant patterned velvet— a luxurious and fitting fabric for pinboards, since you can't see the holes after you poke your pins through. 

Please note that in the summer heat, subtle air bubbles could form underneath the fabric. These are easily to conceal -- just stick a pin on top of it!

MIDDLE: Double layer, thick corkboard to keep pins held in place.
